Robert
Scott Russell is a United States Government Contractor who serves as a
Department of Justice Peer Reviewer. He’s also a former Naples police officer
with years of experience in law and a stellar reputation for his dedication to
career excellence.
While he
was working with the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, after moving on from his
position as a Naples police officer, Robert Scott Russell was assigned several
research projects in addition to his normal duties.
“One of significance arose after media
stories involving false witness identifications in Texas years ago leading to
the imprisonment of innocent citizens,” he explained. “I wrote the revised and expanded witness identification policy for the
agency, which was asked to be shared with numerous agencies as a template. I
received numerous commendations and awards during my tenure.”
