Robert Scott Russell: Experience in Naples Law Enforcement

Robert Scott Russell now works in the fields of fraud detection and investigation, and law enforcement and public policy research. Based in Naples, Russell has offered services as both an Independent Certified Fraud Examiner, and Law Enforcement and Public Policy Researcher, since 2018.

But prior to his work in the research and fraud examination industries, Robert Scott Russell of Naples was a longtime member of the Collier County Sheriff’s Office—an institution he served loyally for more than 16 years (2001-2017). Initially a Law Enforcement Corporal Specialist with the Sheriff’s Office, Russell gained invaluable, hands-on experience as a Detective assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division (Violent and Property Felony Crimes); as a Hostage Negotiator; as an Acting Patrol Shift Commander; and as an Acting CID Unit Supervisor.

Russell’s experience in Collier County also provided years of experience in policy development, project management and operational research.
