Robert Scott Russell Naples: Project Management and Research

Robert Scott Russell of Naples has served as a dedicated member of the law enforcement community for much of his career. A longtime officer with the Collier County Sheriff’s Department, Russell now works to provide training and instruction to law enforcement agencies overseas in such areas as terrorism investigations, hostage negotiations, critical incident response and related law enforcement issues.

Over the course of his career, Robert Scott Russell has not only enjoyed the opportunity to serve his local community on a direct basis but to participate in numerous research projects and project management scenarios.

Between 2012 and 2014, Russell participated in the research, examination, and evaluation of the effectiveness of an “early intervention system” intended to identify potentially problematic behavior in employees; all of which was included as part of his doctoral dissertation.

Between 2009 and 2013, Robert Scott Russell of Naples participated in a project involving the development and revision of policies and general orders of the Collier County Sherriff’s Office; an effort to bring such elements up to date with current legal criteria, and national accreditation standards.
