Robert Scott Russell is a well-educated and credentialed professional working from the Naples, Florida, community.
A longtime law
enforcement official and current Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Russell has
maintained his passion for and pursuit of learning throughout his career –
beginning with the study of Criminology and Criminal Justice and Florida State
University.
During his final year at FSU, Robert Scott Russell became
inspired to one day “bridge the gap between law enforcement research and the
practical application of such information in policing” – the result not only of
launching an original research project alongside noted FSU professor and
well-known criminology researcher Lori Fridell, but also having received
instruction from several professors who themselves had served as sworn
officers.
Several years after earning his bachelor’s degree at FSU – and
during his tenure as police officer with the City of Naples (1999-2001) –
Russell enrolled in a master’s program at Barry University, where he earned his
M.S. in Human Resource Development and Administration (2000).
Russell capped
off his academic career with a Doctor of Education degree at Nova Southeastern
University in 2014.
