Robert Scott Russell of Naples: Associate Member of PERF

Robert Scott Russell worked as part of the local law enforcement community for many years. A former officer with the Naples Police Department (1999-2001) and the Collier County Sheriff’s Office (2001-2017), Russell proved himself a dedicated civil servant, colleague and police officer throughout his career. 

 

Currently working as a Contract Researcher in Law Enforcement and Public Policy, Dr. R. Scott Russell of Naples continues to benefit from membership in a number of law enforcement associations – including the Police Executive Research Forum (PERF). A PERF Associate Member, Russell understands and shares in the organization’s commitment to advancing professionalism throughout the policing community – as well as:

•  Identifying best practices in basic issues of policing, such as the reduction of the use of force.
• Developing problem-oriented and community policing.
• Better utilizing technology to deliver police services to local communities.
• Evaluation of strategies that reduce crime. 

Russell also offers services in the areas of fraud detection, deterrence and resolution.
